Well, I finally got off my butt and finished the lowboy project. The NJ Haunters Association
has been working on these since early summer. Now that the holidays are over, I figured it was
time to turn my attention to getting some of these stagnent projects finished.
Anyway.. this skelerector like prop faithfully follows a design created by Eric of VileThings.com
If you havent been to his website, you should.. its a real inspiration. He has done some really wild
pneumatic props and his casting skills are amazing.
First some stats I suppose..
The project uses approximatly $70 in steel, $30 to $40 in hardware (bolts, threaded rod, etc), two pretty
beefy cylinders 2" bore 9" throw, a bunch of fittings, a small spool of welding wire, and a 5 way solenoid
valve.
If you want exact measurements, you will have to ask Eric for them. I promised I wouldnt release details.
